Since the early stages of NSRP project, The Company has always paid special attention to poor/ disadvantaged households in the neighbouring communities by carrying out various activities to support their livelihood. This practice by NSRP is highly recognized and appreciated by local communities. This year, NSRP Social and Community Section, in cooperation with Tinh Gia District Fatherland Front, continued giving Tet gifts to show sympathy to households who are poor/ disadvantaged.

From 18 to 22 February 2020, 220 sets of Tet gift were distributed to poor/ disadvantaged households in Hai Yen, Mai Lam, Tinh Hai, Nguyen Binh, Nghi Son, Hai Thuong, and Hai Ha communes. Besides the ceremony to distribute Tet gifts in Hai Yen and Nguyen Binh, NSRP directly visited households in Tinh Hai, Mai Lam, Nghi Son, Hai Thuong, and Hai Ha to understand their situation and express sincere sympathy of the Company towards their condition. Tet gift delivery was well received by not only the poor households but also local community and authorities.

In the event of possible outbreak of Corona virus epidemic, Tinh Gia district Fatherland Front and NSRP have carried out the awareness raising on prevention and handing the mask, flyers and soap for the participants during the ceremony.
