On the morning of October 24, 2025, the People’s Committee of Hai Binh Ward held a conference to review the 2025 Voluntary Blood Donation Campaign and Disaster Prevention and Response efforts. The event also recognized outstanding individuals and organizations for their contributions to community initiatives.
The conference was attended by representatives from the Standing Committee of the Hai Binh Ward Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front, along with leaders of local armed forces units, schools, medical stations, and businesses operating in the area such as Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP) and Nghi Son 2 Power LLC.
At the event, Mr. Hiroaki Honjo – Administration & Corporate Affairs Department Manager, representing NSRP’s leadership – was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of Hai Binh Ward People’s Committee. The award acknowledged NSRP’s outstanding contributions to disaster prevention and recovery efforts following the storms in 2025.

As of now, NSRP, its Trade Union and employees have contributed nearly VND 800 million in 2025 to support disaster response and recovery activities in Hai Binh Ward in particular, and Thanh Hoa Province in general. This funding has been used to provide essential supplies, repair damaged infrastructure, and coordinate emergency relief efforts with local authorities. These actions reflect NSRP’s strong commitment to building a safe, stable, and resilient community.
