Integrity Inspection Engineer is responsible for implementing the Integrity Project for pressured
equipment in the Refinery. Duties of Integrity Inspection Engineer includes: develop the procedure and detail the guidelines for inspection, identify inventory of susceptible locations, mark inspection
locations on the drawing, planning, budgeting, control the progress of site inspection, collect data
and upload to RBI software. Integrity Inspection Engineer must familiarize with failure mechanisms,
maintenance planning and inspection philosophy required in the API standards. He/She is able to
support the repair work and contribute to project improvement. He/She will understand the structure
and usage of the Refinery electronic management system to support his work.
The responsibility of the Integrity Inspection Engineer as a minimum shall consist of the followings:
– Identify susceptible locations for inspection respective with each Integrity program
– Mark the inspection locations on the drawing using AutoCAD
– Cooperate with daily Inspection engineer to select the suitable inspection method for each
susceptible location.
– Plan and prioritize the inspection at site using the PCMS (RBI software)
– Prepare inspection budget for each program
– Arrange the inspection resource & allocate if necessary
– Supervise the implementation together with Inspection engineer at site
– Collect the inspection data and upload to PCMS (RBI software)
– Make the inspection plan & issue Work request, cooperate with maintenance to support the
necessary condition for contractor(s) to execute the inspection.
– Support Inspection Leader to generate shutdown inspection work list for plant turnaround if
required. Recommend actions to achieve the turnaround preparation schedule.
– Propose the KPI, monitor and report the progress to Integrity Project Leader.
– Fully comply with NSRP regulations in Health, Safety and Environment Management.
– Performs other related duties as directed.

– University Graduate in Mechanical engineering or Petrochemical equipment.
– Minimum 3 year experience in maintenance planning or inspection of operating oil & gas and/or power plant specified in static equipment and piping
– Conversant with failure mechanisms in Refinery such API 571.
– Familiar with API inspection standards API 570, API 510, API 573, API 653.
– Awareness of ASME design & fabrication codes ASME B31.3, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.4, ASME B16.5, ASME B16.47.
– Able to read drawings such as general assembly drawings, piping & instrument diagram, Isometric drawing.
– Able to work with AutoCAD
– Understand the function and roles of each static equipment & piping.
– Understand the risk evaluation philosophy and its application.
– Understand in principle how to evaluate and select appropriate type and method of inspection in accordance with specification.
– Job holder is required to have a minimum English skill level of IELTS 4.5 or
equivalent.
– Job holder can prepare presentation and meeting content. Competency in Microsoft applications includes Word, Excel and Outlook.
