Responsibilities
  • Marine infrastructure & Asset Integrity:
    • Maintain and ensure integrity of marine facilities including: Jetties, berths, trestles, Mooring and fender systems, Navigation channels and turning basins.
    • Plan and oversee inspection programs:
      * Above-water and underwater inspections
      * Structural assessments and condition surveys
    • Provide recommendations on inspection and monitoring technologies/methodologies for marine assets to improve marine asset condition assessments.
    • Develop a marine integrity threat register and prepare reports, studies, and recommendations to improve facility safety and performance.
  • Dredging & Hydrographic Management:
    • Monitor channel depth and seabed conditions
    • Plan and supervise dredging campaigns (capital & maintenance dredging)
    • Manage hydrographic surveys and analyze survey data
    • Coordinate with third-party surveyors and dredging contractors.
  • Project Execution:
    • Coordinate and oversee marine execution works related to NSRP projects such as upgrade, modification, extension project such as review of engineering documents, Scope of Work, design works and construction works to ensure alignment with design standards, scope, and technical requirements, engineering design approved.
    • Review reports and design proposals to ensure compliance with scope, design, maintenance, and repair requirements of marine facilities.
    • Assure construction and maintenance of marine facilities conform to engineering design, specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Contractor management:
    • Coordinate and oversee contractors on site during construction or inspection activities to ensure immediate resolution of issues based on actual site conditions.
Requirements
  • Educational Level:  University Graduate.
  • Qualification:
    • Bachelor Degree in Marine/Civil Engineering (Coastal/offshore) from a recognized University
    • Construction Supervision Practicing Certificate at least level 3
  • English: Minimum TOEIC level 650 or equivalent.
  • Work Experience:  Required 8-15 years’ experience in Marine infrastructure / port / offshore engineering Oil & gas or refinery marine operations preferred. Experience with : Jetty/terminal operations, Dredging and hydrographic surveys, Structural inspection and marine asset management
  • Job Knowledge:
    • Proficient knowledge in Marine facilities engineering and integrity management.
    • Proficient knowledge of oil refinery damage mechanisms in marine facilities (including selection and detailed assessments).
    • Familiar with standard such as: PIANC, OCIMF, ISO
    • Proficiency in engineering software is an advantage: AutoCAD, STAAD, SACS, MOSES …
