Polypropylene (PP) is a petrochemical product, obtained from the polymerization of Propylene (C3H6). PP has high mechanical strength (tear strength and tensile strength), quite rigid, not too flexible, not stretched so it is made into fibers. Especially likely to tear easily when there is a cut or a small puncture. PP is used to make bottles, packages, woven yarns, films and medical equipment.
At NSRP, PP is produced at the Polypropylene workshop assembly (PPU). PP products are in the form of hard granules, packed in containers and containers for sale by waterway or road.
