On October 7, 2024, the Thanh Hoa Province Department of Tax held a conference to recognize businesses and entrepreneurs who excelled in implementing tax policies and laws throughout 2023.  

Among the distinguished honorees, Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC received a certificate of merit from the Provincial People’s Committee. This recognition highlights the company’s outstanding achievements in production and business operations, as well as its significant contributions to the state budget over the past year. 

Overview of the Conference

In 2023, Thanh Hoa Province demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination, achieving a GRDP growth rate of 7.01% despite facing numerous challenges. The province’s total state budget revenue exceeded 43.2 trillion VND. Building on this momentum, the first nine months of 2024 saw an impressive GRDP growth rate of 12.46%, ranking second in the country. State budget revenue surpassed 42.7 trillion VND, with domestic revenue alone exceeding 26 trillion VND, marking the highest in the North Central region and placing it among the top 10 localities for revenue in Vietnam. 

In recognition of outstanding contributions to the economy, 89 exemplary businesses and individuals were honored at a recent conference.  

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Thi, alongside leaders from the Thanh Hoa Province Department of Tax, presented certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee to the honorees.  

Notably, Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC emerged as the largest taxpayer in the province, contributing an impressive 820 million USD, approximately 20 trillion VND, to the local budget in 2023. This contribution follows their previous year’s achievement of over 23 trillion VND, underscoring the company’s pivotal role in the province’s economic landscape.

The above achievements mark an important milestone for Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC, affirming its relentless efforts in production and business, as well as its commitment to contributing to the economic development of the province. This success not only reflects NSRP’s sustainable growth but also enhances the company’s position within the business community of Thanh Hoa Province.
