From October 2024 to April 2025, NSRP implemented Phase 2 of the CCWS Project, focusing on expanding access to clean water for residential groups in Mai Lam Ward, including Huu Nhan, Huu Tai, Hai Lam, and parts of Huu Lai, Kim Phu, and Tan Thanh. As part of this phase, NSRP funded the installation of approximately 41 kilometers of branch water pipes, while local households financed their individual connections to the branch lines.
The initiative has directly benefited around 1,300 households, significantly improving access to clean and safe water in the area.
The CCWS Project – Phase 2 underscores NSRP’s broader mission to enhance quality of life and foster long-term community development near its operational areas. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hiroaki Honjo, Manager of Administration, Social & Community, and Public Relations at NSRP, highlighted the importance of the project: “We firmly believe that this initiative will improve public health, elevate the quality of life, and deliver meaningful, long-lasting benefits to the community. It also reflects our enduring commitment to being a reliable partner and friendly neighbor.”
Mr. Honjo also extended his sincere gratitude to the leadership of the Mai Lam Ward People’s Committee and the project beneficiaries for their cooperation and support throughout the implementation process.
