Hope and opportunity: 196 scholarships awarded by NSRP

On December 13, Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP) held a scholarship awarding ceremony at the Nghi Son Town Political Center, in collaboration with local leaders and the Nghi Son Town Education Promotion Association. The event recognized the achievements of students from challenging backgrounds who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to their studies.

During the ceremony, NSRP General Director, Mr. Kazutaka Yamato, presented 196 scholarships totaling 572 million VND. These awards included 186 scholarships valued at 2 million VND each, aimed at supporting underprivileged students, as well as 10 prestigious scholarships worth 20 million VND per year for university and college students from the communes of Tinh Hai, Mai Lam, Nghi Son, and Bac Yen village in Hai Yen commune.

Since 2015, Nghi Son Refinery has awarded approximately 1,700 scholarships, amounting to 7.8 billion VND, significantly contributing to educational advancement in Nghi Son town and across the nation. This initiative not only fosters a spirit of learning among students but also provides vital support to families facing financial hardship in the surrounding areas.
