NSRP – A symbol of safe production, efficient operations, and sustainable growth

On October 10, 2025, at the Hac Thanh Convention Center in Thanh Hoa City, Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP) was honored to receive the “Outstanding Enterprise of Thanh Hoa Province 2025” award. The recognition was presented during the Ceremony to Honor Outstanding Enterprises and Entrepreneurs, jointly organized by the Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee and the Provincial Business Association, in celebration of Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13).

This annual event serves to acknowledge and commend the remarkable contributions of the business community to the socio-economic development of the province. This year’s ceremony welcomed the presence of provincial leaders, representatives from departments, agencies, and mass organizations, as well as business associations, local authorities, and entrepreneurs representing approximately 21,500 active enterprises across Thanh Hoa Province.

During the ceremony, 55 enterprises and 24 entrepreneurs were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee for their outstanding achievements in business operations and their significant contributions to the province’s economic and social progress.

Among the honorees, NSRP was proudly recognized as an “Outstanding Enterprise of Thanh Hoa Province 2025.” Representing the company, Mr. Le Nguyen Quoc Vinh – General Manager of the Refinery – accepted the prestigious award on behalf of all NSRP employees from Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and Mr. Nguyen Hong Phong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

The award highlights NSRP’s unwavering commitment to safe and stable operations, strict regulatory compliance, significant contributions to the national budget, and active involvement in social responsibility and community development initiatives.

Mr. Vinh was also honored by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) as an Exemplary Entrepreneur of Thanh Hoa Province 2025, acknowledging his strategic leadership and dedication to building a resilient and responsible business ecosystem.

Under the guidance of its Management team, NSRP has achieved remarkable operational and business results over the past year, including:

• Over 68 million tons of crude oil imported and processed as of August 2025;
• Stable operations at 120% of original design capacity following the successful 2023 major turnaround;
• Export of high-quality 10ppm diesel (DO) commenced in March 2024;
• 22 million safe man-hours (non-LTI) achieved by September 2025, with zero lost-time incidents, fires, or environmental violations recorded over three consecutive years (2023–2025);
• Revenue exceeding VND 200 trillion in 2024, and over VND 120 trillion in the first eight months of 2025;
• VND 25 trillion contributed to the state budget in 2024, and more than VND 15 trillion by August 2025;
• Average employee income surpassing VND 58 million per month (equivalent to nearly VND 700 million annually) in 2025;
• Corporate restructuring is implemented to enhance efficiency, agility, and long-term sustainability.

With its exceptional operational performance, NSRP currently supplies approximately 40% of Vietnam’s total petroleum demand, reinforcing its role as a strategic pillar in the country’s energy infrastructure.

The dual recognition of both the company and its leadership reflects the trust and appreciation of provincial authorities and the business community and reaffirms NSRP’s position as a flagship industrial enterprise driving sustainable growth in Thanh Hoa and across Vietnam.
