NSRP delivered Tet gifts to the poor households in the local community

On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024, from January 25 to 31, 2024, NSRP cooperated with local authorities in the surrounding communes/wards of Tinh Hai, Mai Lam, Hai Yen, Hai Thuong, and Nghi Son to deliver 165 Tet gift sets (each gift set includes 10 kg of rice and a box of necessities for Tet) to poor households that are under particularly difficult circumstances.

This activity is one of the annual NSRP activities with the aim to help poor and disadvantaged households partly lessen difficulties in life as well as further to strengthen the relationship between the community and NSRP.

This activity received high acknowledgement and appreciation from local authorities. Mr. Le Huu Co – the Secretary of Tinh Hai ward’s Party Committee said: “On behalf of the leaders and people of Tinh Hai ward, I would like to express my gratitude to NSRP for this meaningful activity. These meaningful gifts will help poor and disadvantaged households ease some of their difficulties and bring a cozier Tet to their families. I hope that NSRP will continue to maintain this meaningful activity in the coming years. Wishing all the Management and staff of NSRP good health and wishing NSRP a lot of success in the new year of 2024.”

For households that received gift sets, they expressed their affection and appreciation for the NSRP’s considerate and meaningful action.

In addition to the other support activities and programs for local people in affected areas in the recent years, this annual activity is considered another demonstration for NSRP’s companionship with community development, especially communities directly affected by the Project.
