NSRP contributes 1 Billion VND to empower education in Thanh Hoa

On February 2, 2025 (coinciding with the 5th day of the Lunar New Year), the program “Thanh Hoa Education Promotion” took place in Thanh Hoa City, organized by the Provincial Education Promotion Association in collaboration with the Provincial Radio and Television Station.  

The event was graced by the presence of prominent provincial leaders, including Mr. Nguyen Doan Anh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Mr. Lai The Nguyen, Standing Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, alongside other leaders and senior officials of Thanh Hoa People’s Committee and provincial departments. 

The ceremony awarded scholarships to students facing hardships, recognizing their commendable academic achievements over the past year. A highlight of the evening was the significant sponsorship from Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (NSRP), which contributed 1 billion VND to the program.  

The company’s General Director, Mr. Kazutaka Yamato, presented the symbolic check to the Provincial Association for Promoting Education, underscoring NSRP’s commitment to educational support and community development. 

This 1 billion VND donation is part of NSRP’s ongoing social and community development initiatives since its inception. Over the past decade, the company has allocated nearly 9 billion VND for its scholarship program, reaffirming its dedication to enhancing educational opportunities. Alongside its focus on economic growth, NSRP emphasizes its social responsibility, contributing significantly to improving educational quality and the living standards of local communities. This investment not only opens doors for the younger generation but also fosters a sustainable and prosperous community.
