PRESS RELEASE ON THE NEW GENERAL DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT OF NGHI SON REFINERY AND PETROCHEMICAL LIMITED LIABIITY COMPANY

Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Limited Liability Company (NSRP) in Nghi Son Economic Zone, Thanh Hoa Province, Vietnam is pleased to announce that, on 2nd July, 2019, the Members’ Council of NSRP appointed Dr. Atsushi Yamamoto to serve as the General Director of NSRP, commencing later this month.

Dr. Yamamoto’s appointment as General Director of NSRP follows his serving in high level positions of increasing responsibility at Idemitsu Kosan Co.,Ltd.

A key objective of NSRP’s new General Director is to ensure that NSRP is well-positioned to serve as a secure energy source for the Vietnamese economy and to meet the growing domestic demand in Vietnam for refined petroleum and petrochemical products driven by Vietnam’s rapid industrialization and modernization
