On February 3rd in Hanoi, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) held a ceremony to announce and award the decision to appoint the Head of the Group’s Petrochemical & Gas Industry to Mr. Phạm Văn Chất.
The ceremony had witnessed the presence of Dr. Le Manh Hung, Member of the Member Council, CEO of the Group with leaders in the Member Council, Board of Management; Heads of departments/ offices of the Group and all leaders, officials and employees of Petrochemical & Gas Industry Division.
PVN’s CEO Dr. Le Manh Hung awarded the decision to appoint the Head of Petrochemical & Gas Industry Division to Mr. Pham Van Chat.
Recently, Member Council of PVN had decided to receive and appoint Mr. Pham Van Chat, Deputy General Director of Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP) as Head of PetroVietnam Petrochemical & Gas Industry Division.
On behalf of the PVN’s BOM, CEO Dr. Le Manh Hung awarded the decision and presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Pham Van Chat.

Speaking at the ceremony, CEO Dr. Le Manh Hung congratulated the new Head of Petrochemical & Gas Industry Division, Mr. Pham Van Chat for being assigned the new task by the Group’s leaders. CEO Mr. Le Manh Hung acknowledged and appreciated the achievements that Mr. Pham Van Chat has achieved during the working process, and believed that with his experience and abilities, the new Head of Petrochemical & Gas Industry Division would continue to make great efforts and unite with the Division’s members to successfully complete the task of consulting the Group’s BOM, solving difficulties and problems in the assigned field then contributing more to the development of the Group.
CEO Dr. Le Manh Hung also requested that the leaders of the Group, departments and offices in the Group, together with the Petrochemical & Gas Industry Division should strengthen the coordination and support with Mr. Pham Van Chat to help him fulfill his duties.
The new Head of the Petrochemical & Gas Industry Division – Mr. Pham Van Chat thanked the trust of the Group for assigning him a new responsibility. Bearing in mind that the new task has been very difficult, Mr. Pham Van Chat committed to the Group’s leaders that he and the Petrochemical & Gas Industry Division members would unite and strive their best to immediately handle the works to overcome difficulties and challenges, complete tasks assigned by the Group’s leaders.
