On the morning of November 19th, 2019, at the conference room of Nghi Son Refinery & Petrochemical LLC (NSRP) in Tinh Gia, Thanh Hoa, a ceremony to announce and grant the decision to recognize the Chairman of NSRP Trade Union term 2017 – 2022 for Mr. La Manh Truong was held. Previously, under the direction of Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union, the Executive Committee of NSRP Trade Union conducted the election of NSRP Trade Union Chairman for the term of 2017 – 2022 to replace Mr. Ho Khai Hoan who had resigned the position of NSRP Trade Union Chairman due to working conditions.

Attending the ceremony, from Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union, there were Mr. Vu Anh Tuan – Vice Chairman of Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union and Mr. Nguyen Van Ta – Representative of Organization Board, Office of Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union.

From the Board of Management of NSRP, there was Mr. Pham Van Chat – Deputy General Director; Mr. Shigeru Matsuda – Human Resource Manager and Mr. Tetsuya Uchio – Administration Division.

From NSRP Trade Union, there was Mr. La Manh Truong – the Trade Union Chairman and representatives of Standing Committee, Executive Committee and representatives of Trade Union groups of the Company.

Representing the Organization Board and Office of Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union, Mr. Nguyen Van Ta announced the Decision No. 734 / QD-CDDK on the recognition of NSRP’s Trade Union Chairman term 2017-2022. On behalf of the Standing Committee of Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union, Mr. Vu Anh Tuan congratulated and granted the Decision to recognize NSRP Trade Union Chairman to Mr. La Manh Truong.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vu Anh Tuan highly appreciated activities in the movement of the NSRP Trade Union during the past time and assigned the task to the new Chairman of NSRP Trade Union. He hoped that with the new position, Mr. La Manh Truong will continue to promote his abilities and responsibilities as well as available strengths to unite with the Standing Committee and NSRP’s TU Executive Committee to continue fulfilling all assigned tasks, further contributing to the overall achievement of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union.

On behalf of the Company’s Board of Management, Mr. Pham Van Chat – Deputy General Director also congratulated Mr. La Manh Truong with the new position as Chairman of NSRP Trade Union. He hoped that under the guidance of the New Trade Union President, NSRP Trade Union would continue to develop strongly, be the supporter, the voice and the bridge with the Company to resolve all concerns of the TU members, helping to build a solid and healthy working environment.

Mr. La Manh Truong expressed his thanks for the trust and confidence of the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee and all members of the NSRP Trade Union in him as well as the profound concern of the Standing Committee of Vietnam Oil and Gas TU. He reaffirmed that he would continue to train, learn and make constant efforts to further improve his capabilities to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
