Health Screening for Local Residents

The project began with a large-scale health screening program in Hai Binh Ward (formerly Tinh Hai and Mai Lam). In partnership with Thien Duc Medical Investment and Development Co., Ltd., over 1,300 residents received general health check-ups, while more than 300 women underwent advanced cervical cancer screening. This initiative not only enabled early detection of potential health issues but also raised awareness and encouraged proactive healthcare practices.

School Health Check-ups

Following community screenings, nearly 2,900 students across four primary and secondary schools in Hai Binh Ward received comprehensive health examinations, including eye and ENT checks, growth assessments, and direct consultations with medical professionals. These efforts helped schools and parents identify health concerns early, ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment for the next generation.

Dengue Fever Prevention Campaign

In parallel, a dengue prevention and control campaign was rolled out across Hai Binh and Nghi Son wards. Nearly 7,000 households and numerous public facilities were treated with CYP USA 100EC insecticide, complemented by environmental sanitation and awareness activities. Through strong local collaboration, the risk of outbreaks was significantly reduced, and community knowledge of hygiene and disease prevention was greatly enhanced.

Three initiatives – one shared goal: safeguarding health, improving quality of life, and promoting sustainable community development.

The Community Health Development Project 2025 reaffirms NSRP’s long-term commitment to partnering with local communities, striving to build a healthier, safer, and more resilient future for all.
