On May 31, 2026, at Hai Binh Beach in Thanh Hoa Province, the “Nghi Son Green” 2026 Program was successfully held on an expanded scale, bringing together nearly 1,000 participants to jointly protect the marine environment and contribute to building a green, clean, and sustainable Nghi Son Economic Zone.
Launched by Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP) in 2025, “Nghi Son Green” has rapidly gained strong momentum, receiving widespread support from local authorities, businesses, and the community. Building on this success, NSRP continues to play a central role in connecting and mobilizing stakeholders, working collaboratively to further develop the program as a long-term, annual initiative for environmental sustainability.

Representatives from over 11 partner enterprises and local residents came together for the launch of the Nghi Son Green 2026.
This year’s program is hosted by the Nghi Son Economic Zone and Industrial Parks Authority of Thanh Hoa Province (NSEZ), with the participation of multiple enterprises operating within the Nghi Son Economic Zone, alongside the support of Idemitsu Vietnam Co., Ltd., one of NSRP’s shareholders. The close collaboration among all parties highlights a shared commitment to promoting sustainable development initiatives in the region.

The program also saw the active involvement of local authorities, functional forces, and residents of Hai Binh Ward, contributing to a vibrant atmosphere of collective action and strong community spirit throughout the event.
From 06:00 to 09:00, participants carried out a coordinated clean-up operation along a 1.6-kilometer stretch of Hai Binh coastline. As a result, approximately 60 tonnes of waste were collected and properly treated, leading to a significant improvement in the coastal landscape.

Through “Nghi Son Green” 2026, NSRP continues to reaffirm its commitment to partnering with local communities in environmental protection, sustainable development, and improving quality of life. At the same time, the program helps strengthen environmental awareness, promote social responsibility, and reinforce long-term collaboration between businesses and the local community.
