NSRP grants VND 1.3 billion in scholarships, earns recognition for educational contributions

NSRP participated in the 2026 Thanh Hoa Learning Promotion Spring Festival organized by the Thanh Hoa Provincial Association for Promoting Education (THAPE), presenting VND 1.3 billion in scholarships to support students and receiving the Medal for Contributions to Educational Development from the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education, further reaffirming its long-term commitment to supporting local education. 

Thanh Hoa Learning Promotion Spring Festival 2026

On February 21, 2026 (the 5th day of Lunar January), Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP) marked the Lunar New Year with a continued commitment to educational development as it took part in the Thanh Hoa Learning Promotion Spring Festival 2026. The annual event, organized by the Thanh Hoa Provincial Association for Promoting Education (THAPE), is one of the province’s most prominent initiatives dedicated to fostering lifelong learning and nurturing future talent. 

Hosted in collaboration with Thanh Hoa Radio and Television (TTV), the ceremony gathered leaders of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee (to be updated), representatives of local authorities, businesses, sponsors, and philanthropists. With its live broadcast on TTV, the program reached audiences across the province, shining a spotlight on outstanding academic achievements and the organizations supporting the next generation.

During the sponsorship presentations session, Mr. Pham Van Chat, Deputy General Director, represented NSRP to present the company’s 2026 Scholarship Sponsorship Board valued at 1.3 billion VND (approximately 50,000 USD) to THAPE. This contribution underscores NSRP’s long-term commitment to expanding educational opportunities, supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds, and nurturing high-achieving youth who can contribute to Thanh Hoa’s future development.

The event also honored organizations and individuals who have made significant contributions to educational advancement. In the Personal Commemorative Medals session, THAPE presented a Commemorative Medal from the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education (VAPE) to NSRP’s representative. The recognition reflects NSRP’s consistent, meaningful support for education and community development initiatives over the years.
