NSRP Scholarship Program: Investing in talent – Inspiring tomorrow

On December 23 and 24, 2025, Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP), in collaboration with the Thanh Hoa Provincial Association for Promotion Education (THAPE) and the People’s Committees of Hai Binh, Nghi Son, and Tinh Gia wards, awarded 410 scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds in the former Nghi Son District.

The ceremony brought together representatives from NSRP, THEPA, local authorities, school administrators, teachers, parents, and hundreds of students.

Launched in 2015, the NSRP Scholarship Program aims to create educational opportunities for talented students, particularly those facing financial hardship in communities surrounding the refinery. Through this initiative, NSRP seeks to inspire students to pursue academic excellence, develop essential skills, and enhance their future career prospects, laying the foundation for a sustainable future.

By the end of 2024, NSRP had granted 1,739 scholarships worth over VND 7.9 billion to students across Thanh Hoa Province, primarily in the Nghi Son Economic Zone. This achievement underscores NSRP’s unwavering commitment to social responsibility and sustainable development.

In 2025, NSRP continues this mission by contributing VND 1 billion, equivalent to 410 scholarships, to support students in Thanh Hoa. This year’s scholarship award ceremony marks a key milestone, providing timely encouragement for students to overcome challenges and strive for success.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Hiroaki Honjo, NSRP Administration & Corporate Affairs Department Manager emphasized: “We hope these scholarships will serve as a source of motivation for students to keep learning, nurture their dreams, and make meaningful contributions to their families, communities, and the province of Thanh Hoa.”
