NSRP welcomes the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission delegation for review of digital transformation progress  

On March 10, 2026, Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP) welcomed a delegation from the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission to review the company’s progress in implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW on science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.

The delegation was led by Mr. Vu Thanh Mai, Deputy Head of the Commission, together with leaders from Thanh Hoa Province and the Nghi Son Economic Zone and Industrial Parks Management Board. NSRP’s leadership team, represented by General Manager of Refinery Mr. Le Nguyen Quoc Vinh and Department Managers from IT, Corporate Planning, and HSSE, attended the session.

During the meeting, NSRP reported on its business performance and highlighted key achievements in digital transformation. The company has invested significantly in modernizing IT infrastructure, deploying enterprise management systems, and digitizing core business processes on SAP, IBM, and Microsoft platforms. NSRP has also implemented the Total Optimization System (TOS) to enhance operational efficiency and strengthened cybersecurity through multi-layer security solutions and real-time threat monitoring.

Looking ahead to the 2026–2030 period, NSRP aims to further diversify crude feedstock, optimize its business model, explore new product development opportunities, and expand digital applications in operations, maintenance, and management.

The company proposed that central and provincial authorities continue supporting the development of high-quality technical human resources to meet the growing needs of NSRP and supporting industries in the region.

During the site visit, the delegation commended NSRP’s contributions to national energy security and local socio-economic development. Mr. Vu Thanh Mai acknowledged NSRP’s achievements in digital transformation and encouraged the company to further accelerate technological innovation, enhance energy efficiency, and strengthen the petrochemical value chain at Nghi Son.

He also highlighted the importance of continued support from Thanh Hoa Province and the Nghi Son Economic Zone Management Board in ensuring infrastructure readiness, attracting supporting industries, and building Nghi Son into a major energy and petrochemical industrial center.

The visit reflects the Government’s strong commitment to NSRP’s digital transformation journey and reaffirms the refinery’s strategic role in Vietnam’s energy sector.
