Warehouse Section is looking for candidate for the position QA/QC Engineer (Electrical & Instrument) with JD as below. 

• Development
  • Review revamp existing warehouse procedure, and develop new procedure if required.
• Materials inspection
  • Responsible for all spare parts of Electrical and instrument equipment in the Refinery – QA/QC of incoming material – technical standard specification
  • Review all pre-alert paperwork and the signed purchase order, making sure the supplier has provided sufficient and satisfactory documentation in accordance with QA/QC standards.
  • Inspect, test, and sample materials or assembled parts or products for defects and deviations from specifications
  • Reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
  • Coordinate with end user and relevant department to completing the inbound receiving shipment
• Ensure that all inspection requirements have been fulfilled satisfactorily according to final approved drawings/contract/purchase order.
• Master data review
  • Review/verify specification, technical data of materials for master data coding job.
• Quality control, Preservation & Storage
  • Manage the expertise policies and standards to support proper and smooth execution of all Quality related activities in meeting the specified standards and requirements in Warehouse.
  • Coordinate with end user to develop the preservation method for Instrument equipment’s spare parts
  • Check the stocking condition of mechanical spare parts and provide the advise/solution/recommendation stocking and preservation standard.
  • Make sure the material is accurate and of high quality before providing it to the end user .
• Other responsibilities
  • Prepares and implements the material project inspection to complete all project requirements.
  • Provide on-the-job training in QA and QC to warehouse employees.
  • Back up Mechanical & Rotating QC when observing.
  • Back up review document and inspection chemical, catalyst within knowledge.
  • Perform the work assigned by warehouse manager and Sr. Warehouse Leader.

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrument or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control of spare parts for Instrument equipment, electrical equipment in Oil & Gas Refining, Power Plant or Petrochem Industry
• Basic knowledge in refinery processes
• Knowledge for Instrument equipment, working principle.
• Knowledgeable with international standards, petroleum / petrochemical plant materials and equipment.
• Report writing and presentation skills.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Familiar with CMMS Maximo and SAP is plus.
• Good communication and coordination skill.
• Knowledge of Shell MESC system is a plus
