Reliability Engineer

We are looking for CVs for the role of Reliability Engineer in Maintenance Division.  Job Description as specified below: 

The Reliability Engineer performs as a focal point on long-term problem solving by identifying threats, assessing risk, and collecting and analyzing performance data to drive the refinery to a more proactive and generative culture. Focal point for manage equipment reliability and availability process including Life Cycle Cost Analysis, Manage Threats and Availability (MTA), Bad Actor, Reliability Centered maintenance (RCM), Preventive maintenance optimization (PMO), CMMS data statistical and Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) study.

• General: Manage, maintain, update procedure, workflow, data system at sectional level in line with actual operation conditions, and Management Document Control system
• Maintenance execution: Audit implementation of work pack on system.
• QA/ QC 
  – Involve in development of process/ system/ procedure to manage work quality on site.
  – Carry out audits to ensure that site work quality is achieved.
• Reliability 
  – Carry out Overall reliability process audits to ensure compliance with established reliability process.
  – Conduct audit Reliability investigation process to ensure the system is complied with standard.
  – Conduct Threat to availability (MTA)- Score, prioritize, facilitate, track, assess, close out.
  – Conduct PM/ CM audit to ensure compliance.
  – Refinery Bad Actor – set up process to manage and quarterly generate comprehensive report.
  – Refinery Bad Actor – implement to address bad actor.
  – Conduct audit to ensure compliance, make sure the system is complied with standard for Refinery and Discipline bad actors.
  – Involve in development of long-term repair/ replacement strategies in order to manage asset life and obsolescence and to fit with the Refinery TA plan.
  – Verify the CMMS database has properly scheduled preventive maintenance, RCM, reliability information, (failure mode, failure code).
•  Carry out manage & monitoring equipment reliability work process:
  – Use Solomon benchmark data to develop discipline gap closure plans. 
  – Facilitate the creation and updating of the overall maintenance strategy, ensures all updates in RCM and SIS are incorporated to the maintenance plan.
  – Oversee the PM, PdM, and RCM programs.
• Facilitating Manage Threats to Availability (MTA) work process:
  – Identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating the appropriate threats.
  – Threats are created using a causal reasoning approach through use of the Five Causal Reasoning Questions (5CRQs).
  – Trains new team members on the use of MTA and work process.
  – Regular risk assessment meetings are conducted.
• Collect & Analyzes reliability performance data to identify trend and opportunities:
  – Collect maintenance cost and downtime cost.
  – Calculate maintenance efficiency index.
  – Calculate life cycle cost.
  – Perform life cycle cost for bad actors and expensive repairs.
• Conduct the Reliability Engineering Principles.:
  – Conduct Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
  – Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  – Conduct Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA).
  – Conduct Weibull Analysis.
  –  Conduct Pareto Analysis.
• Carry out asset hierarchy and equipment criticality ranking:
  – Review and develop equipment hierarchy.
  – Review and facilitating equipment criticality ranking.
• Facilitates learning for repeat failures and events. Focal point of contact person responsible for any critical or major equipment troubleshooting:
  – Focal point to conduct RCA for major equipment.
  – Focal point to contact vendor, supplier & service for major equipment troubleshooting investigation.
  – Focal point to conduct corrective action for top 10 refinery threat & bad actor.

• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

•  Background Mechanical, rotating, electrical, I&A
• Min 7 years of experience in maintenance in oil and gas industry
• Good understanding on equipment design practices and standards.
• Skilled in leading implementing equipment strategy including RCM, FMECA, RCA, ECA and Asset register hierarchy.
• Skilled in oil and gas, refinery and petrochemical process and maintenance philosophies.
• Skilled of international standards, petroleum/ petrochemical plant materials and equipment.
• Knowledge in rotating equipment knowledge – pumps, compressors, turbines, gas turbines, mechanical and dry gas seals.
• Experienced in maintenance practices including daily activities and turnaround planning/activities.
• Skilled in written and verbal communication skills.
• Skilled multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.
• Skilled in team leading.
• Skilled in read, write, and speak English (IELTS 6.5 or equivalent)
