Site Safety Supervisor

• Educational Level : University graduated or above, Education background of technical or engineering (mechanical, electrical, petrochemical, chemical, safety, environment, civil, etc.) are preferable.
• Work Experience: Minimum 4-8 years working experience as HSSE personnel in the relevant fields. Working experience in crude oil refineries or similar petroleum downstream facilities is preferable.
• Skills:
  • Good work-planning and reporting skills.
  • Good writing and communication skills in both writing and verbal.
  • Good computer skills is essential;
  • Competent English user in four skills – equal to IELTS 5.0 or above.
  • Audit and inspection skill.
  • Passionate dedication to maintaining safe operations enforcing strict conformance with all government regulations, and applicable company procedures and policies
  • Knowledgeable in Vietnamese Regulations & Laws especially in Health & Safety.
  • Deeply understanding these health and safety procedures.
  • Experience on hazard identification and risk assessment technique.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Health & Safety Risk, Permit to Work and Safe Practices.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings (P&ID, PFD, etc.) and technical processing.

Site safety supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities at site to assure compliance with safety procedures, regulations. He is also responsible to implement other Health & Safety tasks as below:

• Daily Operation of Department (Functional Work): Specific responsibilities of Offshore Security Officer, but are not limited to the following:
  • Daily supervise at site to ensure safety compliance from maintenance & operation activities to safety procedures in his assigned area.
  • Participate in the assigned MOC, PSSR, JSA, Safety Review, etc…
  • Facilitate the Leader safety walk at his/her assigned area.\
  • Cross check the critical areas such as high-potential leakage points, high-risk activities, etc…
  • Conduct PTW audit as per schedule/target.
  • Participate in SIMOPS, daily Operation Section meeting as H&S representative.
  • Participate in Emergency Response if requested by ERT.
  • Support to handle the external audit activities at the assigned area.
  • Support other program from Health & Safety such as SBO, safety campaign, morning greeting, etc
• Reporting

• • Daily report site safety performance.
  • Report incident, near-miss if observing.
  • Report to Leader, Manager if any safety issue, abnormality.
  • Support to analysis the safety observations and report to leader, manager the trend of safety issues to develop action plan.
• Policy and procedure
  • Develop Health & Safety related management plans and procedures under guidance of Site Safety Supervision Leader and Managers and in conformance with NSRP LLC requirements and IFC standards.
  • Communicate, coach and monitor the implementation of safety policy & procedures.
• Strategy: 

• • Implement the assigned action items to meet yearly Health & Safety KPI.
  • Give feedback, proposal to superiors to develop or improve Health & Safety strategy and business plan.
• Project Management: 

• • Participate in project management if assigned by Manager.
  • Implement safety supervision for the new project team.
