Upon the Vietnamese New Year, on the morning of January 4, 2023, Mr. Do Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, and Thanh Hoa delegation has paid a pre-Tet visit to Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (NSRP).

Overview of the meeting

Joining the delegation were representatives of leaders from the Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee Office, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Management Board of Nghi Son Economic Zone and Industrial Zones, the Provincial Public Security, the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Provincial Labor Union and the Nghi Son District.

From NSRP, there was the presence of NSRP General Director Mr. So Hasegawa, Deputy General Director cum General Manager of Refinery Mr. Le Nguyen Quoc Vinh and managers of divisions and department of the Company.

On behalf of the NSRP Management Board, DGD cum GMR Mr. Le Nguyen Quoc Vinh reported to Mr. Do Minh Tuan and the delegation about NSRP’s business and production results in 2022 and its 2023 business plan, as well as the Company’s efforts to overcome and recover from the difficulties in business and operations activities due to the heavy impact of the COVID-19 epidemic over the last few years.

In addition, GD Mr. So Hasegawa reaffirmed the Company’s commitment to ensure security and safety for the refinery to operate stably. He also added that the Company would continue to restructure several fields as well as conduct the RHDS catalyst replacement in Q1 and the Turn Around activity in Q3 of 2023.

Mr. Tuan stressed that Thanh Hoa province and the Chairman himself would pledge to create the most favorable conditions for Nghi Son refinery to operate in optimal conditions. He also assured that Thanh Hoa province would always be the partner to accompany NSRP in the future, providing support and working together even when NSRP needed to work with other national departments. Last but not least, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to NSRP for great contribution to ensuring the national energy security.
