On the morning of January 25th, Mr. Trinh Tuan Sinh, Deputy Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, and the delegation visited and inspected the production situation, people’s livelihood, and some business units and enterprises in Nghi Son District, including Nghi Son Oil Refinery and Petrochemical LLC. (NSRP).

During the working session with Mr. Trinh Tuan Sinh – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the working delegation, Mr. Pham Van Chat – Deputy General Director and representative of NSRP’s leadership, reported on the overall production and business situation and achievements that the company had achieved in 2023, and shared the production plan for 2024.

Mr. Chat also expressed his gratitude for the immense support from the Thanh Hoa Provincial Leadership, departments, local authorities, the Nghi Son Economic Zone Management Board, as well as the help and support from the local people throughout the preparation and implementation of the first Turnaround, which contributed significantly to the stable and safe operation of the Nghi Son Oil Refinery in the future.

NSRP DGD Mr. Chat also announced that since the restart in mid-October 2023 after the completion of Turnaround, the refinery has maintained continuous operation at 117% capacity compared to design, with a total output of approximately 7.7 million tons of various products, successfully fulfilling the set production plan for the first time and contributing approximately USD 820 million, equivalent to nearly 20,000 billion VND, to the provincial budget. Since January 21^st, 2024, the refinery has adjusted and maintained stable operation at 120% capacity.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Mr. Trinh Tuan Sinh acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the experts, engineers, and staffs of NSRP. In the context of difficulties in the global, domestic, and provincial economic situation, the company has overcome challenges, achieved efficient production and business results, and made positive contributions to the socio-economic development of Thanh Hoa province.

Mr. Sinh extended Tet greetings to the officials, experts, and engineers of NSRP.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Mr. Trinh Tuan Sinh expressed confidence that in 2024, NSRP would promptly and reasonably propose solutions to turn difficulties and challenges into favorable conditions, ensuring the efficient and continuous development of its production and business activities.

At the same time, he affirmed that Thanh Hoa province will always accompany and share difficulties and obstacles, coordinate and create conditions for NSRP to operate and perform effectively.
