Since its inception in 2018, the NSRP Community Sports Event has become an annual cultural and sport event for the fence-line communities that helps improve exercise habits of communities, and spirit of solidarity and competition in sport activities.

In addition, this kind of event has also promoted NSRP’s care for local communities’ health, culture, and social issues and at the same time supported the enhancement of social cohesion and bilateral relationships between NSRP and the neighboring communities.

The performance of local children

This year, on June 11, 2023, NSRP continued to coordinate with the People’s Committee of Hai Yen ward to organize the NSRP Community Sports Event 2023 with the participation of four communes/wards: Tinh Hai, Nguyen Binh, Hai Yen, Mai Lam in volleyball category.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Athletes from these above four communes/wards had competed and delivered beautiful performances in the spirit of fair play with final convincible results as below:

• First Prize: Hai Yen Team
• Second Prize: Tinh Hai Team
• Third Prizes: Mai Lam Team and Nguyen Binh Team​​​​​​​

At the closing ceremony of the event, Mr. Hoang Van Luong – Vice Chairman of Hai Yen CPC shared: “After a fierce and exciting day of competition, the NSRP Community Sports Event 2023 was a great success. The athletes competed with a spirit of determination, solidarity, honesty, and nobility; the referee team managed and supervised all the matches fairly and objectively; and the fans cheered in an enthusiastic way. Being chosen as the host of this year’s event, on behalf of the local community, I would like to express my deep gratitude to NSRP for organizing this event in order to create a healthy playground, enhance the exchange of knowledge, and foster a spirit of solidarity. I wish that the NSRP will develop stronger and continue to conduct this kind of activity in the long term.”
