In the joyful and exciting atmosphere to welcome and celebreate the Lunar New Year 2021, on the evening of January 26^th, 2021 at Nghi Son Economic Zone (Thanh Hoa), in collaboration with the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union (PVN TU), NSRP Trade Union organized the program “ Xuân nghĩa tình Dầu khí – Kết nối yêu thương ” in 2021 to show deep care for employees working in NSRP in particular and in oil & gas units of PVN in general .

Attending the program were Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL); Mr. Vo Manh Son, Chairman of the Labor Confederation of Thanh Hoa province and leaders of Trade Union of Nghi Son Economic Zone and industrial zones of Thanh Hoa province.

On the side of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), there were attendance of Mr. Phan Ngoc Trung, Member of Group’s Board of Director; Dr. Le Xuan Huyen, Deputy CEO of the Group. From NSRP, there were Dr. Atsushi Yamamoto, General Director of Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP), Mr. La Manh Truong – Chairman of NSRP Trade Union and the presence of leaders of oil and gas units of PVN in Thanh Hoa province.

On the side of PVN Trade Union, there were Ms. Nghiem Thuy Lan – Member of Executive Committee of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairwoman of PVN Trade Union; Mr. Nguyen Manh Kha and Mr. Vu Anh Tuan – Vice Chairmen of PVN Trade Union as well as leaders of professional departments and offices of PVN Trade Union with nearly 300 officers and employees from seven units: NSRP, PTSC, PVC, PV Oil, Petrosetco, PVI and PVcombank.

In the opening remark, Ms. Nghiem Thuy Lan – Chairwoman of PVN Trade Union shared: “In 2020, oil and gas industry was heavily affected by Covid-19 epidemic and the sharp decline of oil price. However, Petrovietnam has made continuous efforts to innovate to become one of the bright spots of Vietnam’s economy. In order to achieve that success, there was a significant contribution from the employees of the Oil and Gas industry. Hence, the care for employees on occasion of Tet is not only the attention and encouragement but also the fostering of development aspirations.”

Especially, in the program, the units of the Group had joined hands with PVN Trade Union to care for workers having difficult family circumstances with the amount of VND 3.3 billion. PVN Trade Union Chairwoman Ms. Nghiem Thuy Lan thanked the leaders of the units for accompanying, sharing and joining hands with PVN Trade Union to take care of Tet for workers, especially the hard-working ones to celebrate the Lunar New Year joyfully and warmly.

Also at the program, representatives of PVN Trade Union presented the signboards supporting  more than VND 1,8 billion to organize “Xuan nghia tinh Dau khi” to units and projects having difficult situation as well as awarded Tet gifts to employees with difficult living circumstances.

“Xuân nghĩa tình Dầu khí – Kết nối yêu thương ” organized by the Viet Nam Oil & Gas Trade Union in Thanh Hoa had taken place in a joyful and warm atmosphere, in the midst of a spring-filled space with many exciting art and cultural performances with spring-like vibe; meaningful and intimate exchanges. People seemed to bond and share more when they get together for a fun and warm dinner with typical dishes having traditional Tet flavor.
