On 08 May 2018, Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP) in Nghi Son Economic Zone, Thanh Hoa Province, Vietnam successfully released the second shipment of product of GASOLINE RON 95 (MOGAS95). 7,000 m3 of GASOLINE RON 95 of NSRP was taken by Long Hưng Trading & Service Company Limited as buyer and loaded onto the vessel PVTrans Dragon (owned by PVTrans Ships Management Company – PSM) for dispatch to the Vietnamese domestic market.

Mr. Turki Alajmi, the CEO of NSRP said: “We are extremely delighted with the success of this second shipment as it shows that the commissioning of the units of the refinery are continuing well and smoothly. All the NSRP team are doing our best to operate the refinery to meet the increasing petroleum demand of the Vietnamese market.”

NSRP is the second refinery in Vietnam with a capacity of 200,000 barrels per day (10,000,000 tons per year). Construction of NSRP Project started in July 2013 and was completed in April 2017 after hundreds of millions of manhours. Since then, NSRP has been commissioning almost 3,000 systems in the refinery for almost a year with over 1,000 employees, both Vietnamese and international, working full-time on site. The products of NSRP will be mainly offtaken by Petrovietnam (petroleum products) and some major international offtakers (petrochemical products).
