Marine Maintenance Engineer – Section 6 – Operations Division

Marine Maintenance Engineer in Operations Division – Section 6 is responsible for provide technical services for Marine/ Jetty/ SPM equipment and facilities. To perform its responsibility, minimum works are as follows:

• Provide technical guidance for reliability and maintenance data by accessing data history for accuracy and compliance with reliability best practices,

• Identify reliability data collection processes to sustain consistency.

• Ensure that equipment is performing effectively and efficiently (current vs. design function capacity).

• Monitor worldwide reliability and maintenance best practice concepts, techniques and tools (magazines, conferences, books, ets….)

• Develop learning logs from critical failures investigation and implement them for other equipment.

• Generate monthly bad actors and follow-up in gap closure.

• Organize reliability day to promote reliability practices, benefit and results.

• Perform cost/ benefits analysis for technical solutions.

• Overseeing application and interpretation of Vietnam piping, static equipment, pressure equipment codes and other applicable codes and standards.

• Be mentor to the less experience engineers in the group.

• Other reasonable work as requested by his boss.

Educational Level : University (Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Equivalent)

Work Experience : Min 3 years working in marine facilities maintenance.

Skills :

– Basic knowledge in Refinery or Petrochemical processes and equipment. At least, has knowledge of applicable Codes, Standards, Governments Acts, and Local Authority Regulations.

– Write reports and design packages to enable implementation of engineering recommendation.

– Proficient in English skills
