NSRP supports Thanh Hoa’s young talents with awards for students excelling in international and regional Olympiads

Reaffirming its commitment to advancing education and nurturing local talent, Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP) has presented awards to three Thanh Hoa students who achieved outstanding results in international and regional Olympiad competitions in 2026. The initiative not only recognizes the students’ remarkable accomplishments but also helps inspire a spirit of academic excellence and the aspiration to reach new intellectual heights among the province’s younger generation.

On July 15, 2026, at the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Headquarters, Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP) participated in the ceremony honoring students who achieved outstanding results in Asia-Pacific and international Olympiad competitions in 2026, while also presenting awards to the province’s high-achieving students.

During the ceremony, NSRP honored and awarded VND 100 million to three students from Lam Son High School for the Gifted who delivered exceptional performances in prestigious international academic competitions. These included Le Duy Khanh, an 11th-grade Physics major student, who won a Silver Medal at the 2026 International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) and a Bronze Medal at the 2026 Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO); Mai Van Khanh, an 11th-grade Physics major student, who earned a Bronze Medal at the 2026 Asian Physics Olympiad; and Nguyen Bao Khanh, an 11th-grade Mathematics major student, who secured a Bronze Medal at the 2026 Asia-Pacific Mathematics Olympiad (APMO).

These remarkable achievements are the result of the students’ dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence. They also serve as a testament to the quality of Thanh Hoa Province’s gifted education system, further showcasing Vietnamese talent on regional and international academic stages.

The awards were presented under the Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Scholarship Program 2026, an annual initiative established by NSRP to recognize, encourage, and support students who achieve outstanding results in international, Asian, and Asia-Pacific Olympiad competitions. Through this program, NSRP aims to inspire students to pursue their academic passions, maximize their potential, and contribute to the future development of their hometown and country.

Beyond recognizing exceptional young talents, NSRP has continuously invested in local education through a range of meaningful support programs. To date, the company has awarded 2,149 scholarships to students across Thanh Hoa Province, with a total value of VND 8.5 billion.

These sustained contributions reflect NSRP’s long-term commitment to developing high-quality human resources and strengthening the knowledge foundation necessary for the sustainable growth of Thanh Hoa Province.
