NSRP reaffirms ESG commitment through “Tree Planting Festival in Eternal Gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh” in Truc Lam Ward

On the morning of March 4, 2026, to mark the Binh Ngo Spring 2026, Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP) partnered with the People’s Committee of Truc Lam Ward to host the “Tree Planting Festival in Eternal Gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh” at the ward’s stadium. The program supports the traditional New‑Year tree‑planting movement, promotes environmental stewardship, and underscores the shared responsibility of authorities, businesses, and the community in building greener, cleaner, and more sustainable cities.

The event was attended by representatives of local authorities, a large number of residents, and NSRP leadership. As part of the program, NSRP funded and planted 58 Taiwan almond trees (Terminalia mantaly) around the Truc Lam Ward stadium with a total budget of approximately VND 200 million. The initiative adds to the urban tree canopy, enhances the local landscape, and creates a more welcoming public space for recreation and physical activity.

Local authorities acknowledged and highly appreciated NSRP’s continued companionship in environmental initiatives—especially programs with broad community reach. The company’s active participation not only creates a positive example but also helps raise public awareness of the vital role of greenery in sustainable development.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Kazutaka Yamato, General Director of NSRP, emphasized:
“For NSRP, environmental protection and community development are core elements of our sustainability strategy, aligned with ESG principles. Through today’s program, we look forward to working closely with local authorities and residents to spread environmental awareness and create more positive value for the community.”
