Brief of SOW:
The objective of this service is to perform inspection, assessment, and technical evaluation of existing Cathodic Protection (CP) systems (both ICCP and SACP), and to provide recommendations to ensure that the systems operate effectively in compliance with applicable international standards, thereby extending asset integrity and service life.
• Perform inspection and assessment of Cathodic Protection (CP) systems for underground pipelines, storage tanks, and associated equipment to evaluate protection effectiveness and overall system condition.
• Conduct CP surveys and testing (including CIPS/DCVG surveys, follow-up investigations, isolation checks, potential measurements, and fault location) to identify defects and non-compliance.
• Inspect and verify the functionality of CP components, including anodes, rectifiers, cables, isolation joints, reference electrodes, and test stations.
• Review the existing CP system design, perform recalculations where required, and assess adequacy against applicable standards.
• Provide engineering recommendations and consultancy services, including repair proposals and improvement solutions for identified CP system deficiencies.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive inspection and assessment reports, including findings, conclusions, recommended corrective actions, and suggested intervals for the next inspection.
