Notice of procurement plan for wifi system improvement (phase II)

Nghi Son Refinery & Petrochemical Limited Liability Company (NSRP) is planning for procurement of a package for “Wi-Fi System improvement (Phase II)” in order to select a suitable contractor for provision of the Goods & Services for NSRP. The tentative date of commencement of the Goods and services will be in early August 2018.

NSRP plans to start the above mentioned procurement process very soon. If your company is interested in this procurement package, please respond to all questions in the questionnaire attached in Attachment 2 and send to the following address by 5.00 PM (Hanoi time) 24th July 2018

SUMMARY SCOPE OF WORK

NSRP Wi-Fi system has many disadvantages and it has not met NSRP’s requirements of business. In order to overcome these limitations, NSRP has built new Wi-Fi system and planned to deploy in to two phases

Phase 1:  Replace Wi-Fi controllers and build the System with high availability (HA). There are 24 Wi-Fi access points (WAP) be replaced in critical areas. Currently, this phase already accomplished.

Phase 2:  Replace all the rest WAPs and install some new ones at weakness signal area. This scope of work is developed for implementation in phase 2 based on equipment deployed on Phase 1.

Cabling and LAN sockets

New WAPs will be replaced for current WAPs at the same location so the LAN cables will be reused, but Implementer will do LAN cabling for additional WAPs.  The LAN sockets for new WAPs are available on the walls closing with position of the WAPs, so Implementer does not need to install LAN sockets (only cabling from LAN sockets to location of additional WAPs).

These WAPs can use power which is supplied by PoE switch via LAN cabling. Therefore, Power supply for these WAPs are not necessary.

LAN cable will be provided by NSRP.

Implementation

–         Service Provider shall undertake the safety induction training, permit to works, material, labor, supervision, inspection, testing and documentation of all required permanent works to complete project in order to comply with NSRP requirements.

–         The Service provider must setup new WAPs including: physical wiring, installing new WAPs, configuring new WAPs, tagging connections.

–         The Service provider will NOT tamper with the existing infrastructure without explicit permission.

–         The Service Provider must test connections on new WAPs to confirm all connections working well before replacement.

–         The Service Provider needs to minimize interruption during replacement

–         It is requested at least 02 certified professional network / security engineers relating to Aruba work onsite in NSRP.

Technical document and diagram

–         The Service Provider will provide all specification documents of new WAPs

–         NSRP provide the current physical diagram, logical diagram, IP planning

–         The service provider provide design for new system (Physical diagram, Logical diagram), implementation document, Migration planning, Checklist for implementation.

–         The Service provider needs to follow NSRP’s procedure to prepare for installing new WAPs.

–         The service provider has to update network diagram after implementation.

Equipment, tools, materials.

–         The Service Provider prepares Bill of Material document and sends to NSRP for reviewing. Bill of Material document include:

–         Part Number: A part number is an identifier of a device.

–         Descriptions: Describe detailed information about device.

–         Quantity: Amount of device.

–         Unit: Unit of device.

–         Price: Price each device/service and total price.
