Kerosene/Jet A1 is a flammable liquid hydrocarbon mixture (heavier fraction than Gasoline) with the typical boiling temperature between 144 °C and 300 °C (resulting in a mixture of carbon chains containing 12 to 15 carbon atoms).Kerosene/Jet A1 is produced from Kerosene fraction obtained from crude distillation unit (CDU). This Kerosene fraction is then further treated in Kerosene Hydro Desulphuriser Unit – KHDS (to mainly remove sulfur and metal) to obtained: fuel for jet engines (Jet A1) product or treated Kerosene product that could be used as diesel blending component. |
