On 3rd October 2017, Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP) and representatives of Hai Yen commune, Mai Lam commune, Tinh Hai commune (Tinh Gia district, Thanh Hoa province) gave 1,170 Mid-Autumn gifts for children of 3 communes: Hai Yen, Mai Lam and Tinh Hai. The gift is educational materials to encourage the spirit of the children for new school year and welcome a meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival.

On the evening of 3rd October 2017, NSRP co-operated with Hai Yen commune People’s Committee and Mai Lam Commune People’s Committee to hold 02 Mid-Autumn Festivals for children at Hai Yen commune People’s Committee and Cultural House of Tan Thanh Village, Mai Lam Commune.

Mid-Autumn Festival is full of activities such as lion dancing, presenting of star shape lanterns, musical performances from children, games designed by schools and social and community section staff and interesting gifts have attracted many local people and partially contributed to bringing about joy to children. Through the program, NSRP expresses its deep gratitude to the local authorities and people of the communes who have cooperated and supported the project during the past time.

Also on Mid-Autumn Festival of this year, wishing to express affection for children with disabilities, orphans and their families in the locality, Mr. Turki Al-Ajmi (Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Representative of Kuwait Petroleum Europe B.V.) donated 91 gifts (each gift set is include 1,000,000 VND and 1 moon cake) to orphans and disabled children in communes: Tinh Hai, Mai Lam, Hai Yen and Nguyen Binh. Mr. Turki Al-Ajmi wishes to share some of the hardships that children and their families are experiencing and want to send wishes to children and their families are always healthy and happy.
